Vintage ivorine lidded powder bowl, circa 1920s-30s. Ivorine is celluloid simulated to look like ivory, but is much thinner and lighter than the real thing. Sometimes called French Ivory. Measures about 7 cm high and 12.4 cm diameter (2.3/4 inches by 4.7/8 inches). A few age spots, but excellent condition all round.
