Wonderful etui with pencil, ivory tablet, scissors, and a knife / letter opener. The case and the gold trim items test as low carat gold and the portrait is on ivory. Good 18th century Etui that could use to have the hinge fixed and perhaps the enamel touched up in a couple of spots. very good quality piece that are almost never seen any more.
