Vintage WWII US Army AMES Entrenching Folding Tool Shovel. The shovel has marked on bottom US AMES. The date is there, but not readable. The shovel unfolded measures 27 3/4" in length. It folds nicely. The screw is easy to loosen and tighten. There is paint chipping. Has rust. This shovel is from the 40's or earily 50's. Can not read the date.
