SOLD Authentic antique 17th -18th century, Polish, or Hungarian, War Hammer (Obuch - Obuszek), with brass head, comprising a square faced hammer, balanced by an elaborately shaped fluke on its carved hardwood haft of circular section, fitted on the top with a domed brass cap, and an iron cap on the base.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing the age and usage, the wooden haft with minor with age cracks. Free of any repairs.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length; 85.4 cm (33 5/8 in), Length of the head; 12 cm (4 3/4 in).
