A medal issued to commemorate the WWI and WWII service of the PUKKU Mounted Rifles. The face illustrates a WWI Mounted Polish rifleman and the reverse shows tanks in motion, to note their conversion to an armoured Division in WWII. A very artistic brass medallion with excellent definition of the subjects. Issue date is 1947. Size 2.75" in diameter.
