This item has been SOLD. This officers hat with the characteristic square visor found on the M1935 hat, has a napped blue gray cover with red piping and a plush, black band with the WW11 enameled Red Star. The leather chin strap is original and is mounted with brass buttons bearing the Star with Hammer and Cycle. The interior lining and sweat band is in very good condition. There is a faded manufacturers stamp dated 1940 legible in the inside crown. Slight soiling and edge wear.
