In very fine condition, a WW1 Military Merit Cross II type- 1 Class, enamel center with swords. The presence of the swords indicating that the award is for military service. The face bearing the enamel Cypher of Ludwig II and the obverse the Bavarian rampent Lion encircled by the date 1866, the date in which this award was instituted. The silver cross has slight patina and the enamel is in mint condition. The ribbon original black white and blue ribbon is slightly discolored. Size 1.75" x 1.75"
