This item has been SOLD. A 1958, Cold War era, Soviet sextant in very nice condition. The lens and mirrors are in very good condition and most of the original paint remains. The wood box seems to have spaces for accessories that are missing. The sextant and a telescope sight device appear to be original to the case. The olive drap paint suggest military application but we are unclear on that point. The case size is 11.5"x11.5"x5". The sextant is approximately 9.5"x9.5".
