A gorgeous set of six 'New' chairs by George Nakashima (1905 - 1990). These chairs each bear a signature plaque. The spindles are crafted from Hickory, and the other components of the chair are in Walnut. The 'New' chair was designed by Mr. Nakashima in 1955 and has become the archetypal chair of the designer. These chairs were crafted in 1981. Original finish and very solid, these chairs are a joy to behold!
