The first engraving is titled, "The Town Of Falmouth, On The Rappahannock, Opposite Fredericksburg, Headquarters Of Gen. Burnside, And The Army Of The Potomac." The second engraving is titled, "Going Into Camp At Staffords Store, Virginia--3rd Brigade, 3rd division, 6th Corps. Carrying Off Rails and Gathering Persimmons.--From A Sketch By Our Special Artist, Mr. Henri Lovie." It shows a small group of African Americans in the foreground watching the scene.
