Folk Art Carving of a Mounted Santiago. White; black; orange; brown and blue. Wood and metal. The hand carved sculpture is of Santiago, "Saint Panajahel," riding a white horse. He wears a blue top with white dots and orange trousers. He has a black mustache and goatee, short bobbed hair and a flat topped hat. The horses large eyes are outlined in black as are his bridle and reins. The horses right front leg is raised. The soldier has a hole in his left fist for a weapon. They stand on a rough cut of wood. Pieces of the sculpture are held together by nails.
