Its a large folk art painting. The title is Carolina Gardens and it is from the Langrock Foundation Collection. On the back it has a tag from an exhibition in Williamsburg from 1936.
It has some condition issues and it really needs to be seen in person. It is just under 54 inches tall and 6 feet wide.
The large, ornate wood frame is painted along with the canvas.
