Vanity Fair Candies Box by Nunnally's, "The Candy of the South", circa 1920's or earlier. Paper covered cardboard box measuring approximately 6 1/2 x 10 1/2" x 2 1/4" tall. Paper has peeled in a number of spots and there is significant wear to edges. The graphics are vibrant and terrific nonetheless. Southern Belle in fancy blue dress and hat adorns the center, surrounded by decorated flowered trellis, with 2 smaller insets of southern mansion on bottom right and horse drawn carriage on bottom left. Box top lifts off bottom...structurally sound and intact. Again, it's the paper around edges that shows the most wear.
