Circa 1700 Chinese Kangxi Period Famille Verte Porcelain Joss Stick Holder measuring 6 1/4" in height and the rectangular plinth is 2 1/4" X 1 1/2". It is modelled in the form of a Buddhistic Lion and its young on a rectangular plinth, with the base being unglazed and fired slightly orange. Good Condition with only a minor chips having been restored. Unusual Chinese Pieces of this age are RARE and very rarely appear on the market. People in the Far East, China are looking for pieces like this, which is their heritage and 300 year old pieces like this, regardless of size, are very desirable and much in demand.
