C. 1775 Chinese Export Famille Rose Acrobatic Mandarin pattern Cup and Saucer,of most unusual subject matter in very good condition. Rare and Scarce. Never Seen this Pattern!!! This fine detailed painting was done by a very good artist and great perception in the 1700's, not to mention the superb molded and ribbed form, which is a masterpiece set in the chinese export pattern. Very well painted on both the cup and saucer is a scene of a acrobat on a tightrope walker with two figures cheering him on with their act as entertainers of the court. This scene is painted very nicely on both the cup and saucer The saucer measures 5" in diameter and 1" in depth and has no chips or cracks but does have a tiny hairline which is so tight and small it is hardly noticeable. The cup measures 2" in depth and is 3" in diameter. Excellent Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration.
