A beautiful pair of Chinese bronze 'Buddhistic' censers with great detail. The dark brown patina complements the cylindrical form. The pair has an incised rim and base enclosing a panel depicting deer and various Buddhistic or Taoist symbols on a ground of scrolling waves. The entire form is raised on bun feet.
