A large Japanese Imari shell-shaped porcelain dish, blue and green in overall coloration, decorated in a classic brocade, prunus blossoms & stylized wave motif, the underside decorated in stylized blue florals. A substantial and important piece; in perfect condition. Late 19th, early 20th Century. Japan, c. 1890-1910. Dimensions: 13 " W x 11 1/4" D x2 1/2" H.
