Wall Hanging. Beige; brown; red; green; gray; white; black; blue; pink.. Linen; lace; leather; wool; wood. This hand stitched, appliqué and embroidered piece is titled, "Mary, Mary Quit Contrary." Mary stands above her garden holding a bunch of roses. She is done in cutouts of leather and lace and embroidered in colored thread. Wooden dowels anchor the piece and it hangs by a black woolen chain with tassels. An attached label reads, "Hand Made by Joan Mary."
