Made by Ataahua, these 1940s-50s sterling silver teaspoons have a pretty fan-shaped finial of New Zealand paua shell in iridescent colours of green, blues and mauves. Ataahua were well known mid 20th century for their New Zealand souvenir items, such as jewellery, silverware etc.
Teaspoons come in their their original case. Small enough to be also used as coffee spoons, each spoon measures 10 cm long. The bowls measure 3 cm by 2 cm. They are all hallmarked by Ataahua's distinctive flying bee mark, and the words Stg Silver. Very good condition. (Box is a little tatty on the outside).
