Two matching antique Adam style one-arm sconces made by Empire, featuring their original, nicely aged silver-plate over pewter finish. Dating from the 1920s, the urn-shaped back plate features understated details and an elongated body. A fluted arm extends from the center of each back plate and curves upward to support an elegant grooved wax pan. These wall lamps are in excellent condition and have been stamped by their maker and with "PAT. MAR 29, 21." They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Each sconce is 3-7/8†wide, 12-1/2†tall, and protrudes 5-1/4†from the wall.
