This is an amazing antique Art Deco slip shade chandelier found in Chicago, c.1930, in its original polychrome finish. Made by the Lincoln Company, the three-light chandelier begins with a polychrome canopy ornamented with alternating flowers and leaves. The chandelier comes down in a rod surrounded by a metal framework composed of volutes in a geometric design. The body is ornamented in a fantastic Art Deco motif with geometric detail, volutes, and flowers; it holds three gadrooned slip shades ornamented with volute accents. The fixture finishes in a dangling shield-shaped finial accented with volute motifs. This light fixture is in very good antique condition with no cracks or breaks to the slipper shades, just the expected fleabites. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 15-1/2" wide, 25-1/2" tall. Two coordinating chandeliers are also available with item numbers NC1521-RW and NC1522-RW.
