This Serapi corridor carpet features a stacked-lozenge medallion with stepped polygons decorated with extended fetter bars and a central quatrefoil pattern. The primary medallion is decorated with colorful boteh motifs and flowers set over a dark background that contrasts against the charming all-over pattern used in the camel-colored field. Traditional outer borders with a solid shade of chestnut brown and inner guardbands woven with a regional pattern of interlocking turrets complete this traditional piece.
