Antique Khorassan Persian RugThis magnificent Khorasan has all the finesse and rich delicacy of a millefleur embroidery, but expanded onto a monumental scale. The soft sand and champagne tones contrast beautifully with the sea-blue ground like gold on lapis lazuli. The sparing use of blue in the border allows the sands and ivory to predominate there, nicely contrasting with the essentially blue cast of the field.
