Antique Bijar Runner, Persia, circa 1900 While the design of linked, hexagonal, serrated medallions on a camel ground is Serab in style, the tight, expert weave of this lovely antique runner shows that it is Bijar. Bijar too are the rosette patterns within and outside the medallions, as well as the rosette and vinescroll borders, and the natural wool foundation of the piece.
