An Exceptionaly rare Gothic Christ / Corpus circa 1480. It was re-mounted in the 17th century (a very common practice) on the current wooden cross with base. Contains a relic/ Reliquary of St Margaret at the base. A very early and rare piece of European Catholicism Christianity for a fraction of what you would pay at the European auction houses.
