Antique Persian-Jewish sacred altar form sheltering a mirror that features reverse paintings. The gates of the altar are hand-painted on gesso covered wood featuring 2 standing figures and inscription in Hebrew "God is one" above. The side columns depicts birds and flowers. This is an extremely rare Persian Judaica object dating probably to 18th.-19th. century decorated in folk style of typical Persian miniature paintings of the period.
