Two huge coils of hand carved Tochigi wood 'juzu' or zen buddhist prayer beads from the late Meiji Period, c.1900. The lacquered box they came in is even better as it is lined with original woodblock pictures of geishas. The bigger coil, with slightly larger beads, when double-coiled stands 6ft. The smaller coil with slightly smaller beads when double coiled stands 5ft. Ask for shipping quote.
