Antique 16th-18th century India Hindu miniature bronze figure of Sri-Lakshmi standing in sensual tribhanga atop a round base over a square plinth, her right arm extended and her left raised with a lotus blossom, clad in a long dhoti incised with foliate patterns secured with an elaborate pendant belt, further adorned with jewelry and a breast band, her hair piled into a high chignon.
MEASUREMENTS: Height: 4.5 cm (1 3/4 in).
CONDITION: showing its age and usage, the figure is worn out on the exposed areas, from centuries of rubbing by worshippers, with old natural dark brown patina.
