This stately pair of steeds of an unusually large size until recently graced the tomb of a Chinese dignitary of the Han Dynasty (202 B.C. to 220 A.D.) Despite their great age they are in wonderful original condition, their slip-painted details mostly intact. Objects of this sort usually suffer from overhandling or overcleaning, but these were recently excavated and handled only with gloved hands. (With them comes a complimentary pair of museum gloves for that purpose.) Approximately 8-3/4 inches high by nine inches long by three inches deep. As with all our goods, these Han Dynasty pieces are guaranteed to be genuine and as described. Please note that, as usual with our policy, these pieces are guaranteed to be genuine and of the Han Dynasty.
