Folk Art Pottery Bird Whistle. White; green; red; yellow; and tan. Pottery. The hand-formed bird stands on two legs and rests back on the tail which is the whistles mouth piece. The body and legs are painted white and the head yellow. The tail is unpainted. The bird has a red crest, beak and eyes. The wings are red and green as is the speckled breast. There is a small hole in the breast and square hole beneath the tail.
