Here is an exquisite hand painted Floral Shell Bowl signed (impressed with Copeland over the crown†Coalport. It dates from around 1820—1850. It is painted in beautiful flowers in the Peony Pattern.
The painting is very fine and delicate.
The Lovely Georgian Period Dish is 9.50 inches long by 5.25 inches wide 7.75 and 1.50 inches tall. Impressed with “COPELAND†with the “CROWN†and the number 3184D by hand in the color of sepia red.
Condition: The bottom of the rim does have two small areas of damage (seen only when the bowl is turned over to be expected of the past two hundred year).
This is a very beautiful and rare work and would make a great addition to any serious collection of English Ceramics
