SOLD Antique 19th century Chilean infantry officer sword with hollow - triangular blade etched with scrolls of foliage, gold gild brass hilt, cast and chased in low relief comprising, elaborate knuckle guard with downcurving quillon grip fitted with bulbous bone scales enclosed by gild bras straps decorated with empire ornament with large ovoid pommel, down –turned shell guard, decorated with a pierced arrangement of scrolling tendrils bearing the coat of arms of Chile.
CONDITION: the sword is in good condition considering that its age.
