A Fine antique 17th - 18th century Persian Safavid Dynasty Islamic Bazu Band armour formed of a gutter –shaped plate, decorated throughout with finely pierced openwork, with three cusped cartouches comprising calligraphic Arabic inscriptions, highlighted with gold koftgari, enriched with minute brass studs. The rim bordered with a chased floral band. The interior with metal sheet lining, revealing a shiny rosy finish.

CONDITION: Signs of age and usage, gold koftgari worn, the bottom with rust spots, one of the corners corroded, however, still in good condition considering its age.
