A fine quality Tibetian Dughti dagger or short sword, dating to the late 19th. - early 20th. cent. This Dughti is superbly made with a good heavy blade with deep fullers and it's sheet and handle in quality silver. The handle is wrapped with brass tread. Openwork pommel of solid silver. This can best be described as a large dagger, measuring some 347 mm. - 13,7 inches - in it's sheet. An unusually high quality etnografic dagger from Tibet! Condition: Superb!
