Antique colonial 18th Century George III bugbear coconut powder flask carved in relief, with two oval medallions. The front medallion encloses a crown, and the back medallion encloses a heart surrounded by stiff leaves, all against hatched grounds. The remaining surfaces are carved with hatched panels and flower-heads. The flask is fitted with a silver nozzle and two brass suspension loops.
MEASUREMENTS: Height: from the top of the nozzle to the bottom of the base: 16.2 cm (12 3/8 in).
CONDITION: In its original condition, showing the age and usage, with a dark patina.
