Unusual tea strainer in the form of a woven wire basket made in Germany, probably between 1880-1920.Measures 5 3/4inches to the tip of the hook in front of the basket.Very cleverly woven thin silver wires, over flat silver metal frame, with larger wire rim continueing to form the handle.
