This is a qaulity pairing of antique English pewter (likely Britannia metal) coffee pots made by James Dixon & Sons, circa 1850. The marks indicate between 1835-1879. These pots are near matching, but not quite. Both are aprox. 11 1/2" to the top of the finial. Both have wooden handles with beautiful serpentine spouts. The finials are pretty much the same. The difference is where the handle meets the pot. Both open/close well for the age. The wood shows paint loss.
