Vintage signed 14carat gold ladies pink / lilac Kunzite ring with 2 little diamonds. Size US 5. Oval, faceted pink stone rises above two small diamonds and a ''stepped'' gold shank. Hallmarked 14K and with engraved CI, which could be the maker''s initials. We are not gemeologists, but stone appears to be of a high quality. Came from collection of a 93-year-old lady. Discovered in 1902 in California, kunzite was named as a tribute to George Kunz, legendary gemologist and renowned gem expert for Tiffany & Co.
