Guglielmo Cini trained as a jewelrydesigner in Florence, Italy, and moved to the USA in 1922 and establishing his own jewelry business inBoston.This floral jewelry piece is an example example of his more detailed work with open hand pierce cut flowers. This open pierce cut design is one of the most difficult to make. It is in excellent condition and measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/8". The brooch is signed on the back "Guglielmo Cini, Sterling".
