Elegant Art Deco sterling silver bracelet, from the late 1940s. Alternating square and rectangular silver panels. Each panel is inset with New Zealand paua shell in beautiful iridescent colours of green, blue and pink. This is an early Returned Services piece, as it is marked Stg. Silver on rear of each panel. (Returned Servicemen after the War made these pieces as employment when recovering from injuries etc.). Bracelet measures 18 cm long by 1.2 cm wide. (7 inches by 1/2 inch). Excellent condition.
