Little celluloid (or possibly bakelite) brooch, carved as a rose with a small bud with painted leaves and stem. Measures 24 mm by 36 mm (just under 1 inch by 1.3/8 inches). Clasp is rather crudely glued on at the rear (quite sound though), but face of brooch is in excellent condition.
