Vintage 1950s retro cardigan clip. Two pearlised discs with dress-clip backs joined by a faux pearl chain. Disc measure 3 cm diameter. Length of whole is 8.25 cm. Very good condition - just a few little skin losses to the beads on the chain. It was a very fashionable thing to drape your cardigan over your shoulders in the 50's and 60's - remember this was the age of the twin-set.
Your cardigan clip was worn clipped to each top of the garment - it held it together and prevented it slipping off, effectively making a sort of cape.
