Estate ring. Platinum set with a 2 carat emerald offset by diamonds. Has Victorian look, but believed to be made much later - possibly 2nd half of 20th century. Measurements and sizes: US ring size 7. Weighs 4.5 grams. Stones: 2 carat emerald; .036ct diamonds. Sold to me as Victorian, but I believe it to be 2nd half of 20th century. Gorgeous, delicate design with lacy openwork finely set with diamonds in filigree platinum, surrounding and framing a beautiful 2 carat, pear-shaped emerald, somewhat raised above the plain of the diamond background and enclosed in a platinum colette. The fine diamond lacey background continues on the shoulders. No hallmarks, but tested as platinum. Very good condition.
