Vintage Scottish silver brooch or pin of two thistles, one with a purple amethyst glass thistle top, the other with an amber-yellow citrine glass top. It has a Scottish hallmark for Edinburgh - the date letter is almost unreadable, but possibly for 1951. Maker's mark is either R.W. & S, or H.W. & S. Comes with a pair of matching earrings - thistles and leaves with a purple glass faux amethyst stone. All have very nice detailng to the silver work. Brooch has a safety chain attached. Brooch measures 3 cm diameter. Earrings have screw-back fittings and measure 1.9 cm by 1.2 cm. Earrings are stamped "Silver" on the screw. All in very good condition.
