Lovely Satsuma brooch, the ceramic being backed onto brass. Irises and a white heron is the pattern, and this brooch would date from circa 1920s-30s. It measures 37 mm by 41 mm. Very attractive example in excellent condition. just the usual tiny wear marks to the rear.
