New Zealand jade (called greenstone in NZ) earrings, mounted in sterling silver and surrounded by marcasite. These are clip-on earrings, dating from 1930s-50s. The face of the earring measures 16.5 mm by 13 mm. One of the back springs is a bit weaker than the other, seems OK at the present time though. Very attractive styling, the marcasite sets off the colour of the jade beautifully.
