9ct gold and red stone ring - probably a synthetic (man-made) ruby. Pretty colour rectangular stone, claw-set with openwork mount. Bevelled band. Stamped "9ct" inside band. Face of ring measures 9 mm by 7 mm. Ring fitting is English size N (USA size 6.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.92 mm. Striking ring to wear with a coloured dress, and it is in absolutely excellent condition. Probably circa mid 20th century plus.
