Very nice quality genuine Akoya cultured pearl necklace. The pearls are matching, not graduated, and each measure approx. 7 mm diameter. All are knotted between. They have a lovely rich pinky/cream sheen. The unusual clasp slides into a drilled out pearl. Gold clasp, and fitted with a 9ct gold safety chain (you would do this up with the pearls in front, then turn the clasp around to the rear). Total length of necklace is 42 cm. Excellent condition. Probably dates mid 20th century or earlier.
