Probably a French piece, this lovely long flapper's necklace is an Art Deco rendition of Egyptian motifs with a scarab and brass hanging fringe. Horn beads with reeded decoration and horn flat beads with red beads in between, the necklace is a total of 90 cm long, and the scarab/tassel pendant is a further 10 cm long by 4.5 cm wide. Large reeded beads are each 4.7 cm long by 1.5 cm diameter and have brass cap beads at either end. Excellent condition. 1920s.
