Gorgeous large aquamarine ring, 5 stones, the central oblong cushion-shaped aquamarine between pairs of circular-cut blue zircons. Mount is 9ct gold. (Stamped 9 ct). Face of ring measures 12 mm by 21 mm. This ring has an independent valuation, which describes the stones as follows: Central aquamarine stone is 10.8 mm by 8.95 mm, estimated at 3.30 carats, lightly included with medium colour quality. The circular blue zircons (note: genuine zircons, not synthetic) are approx. 5.15 mm to 5.35 mm diameter, est. total 3 carats, of good quality. The valuation gives a used retail market value of $1100.00, and a new comparison value of $3,000.00. (We offer it for sale at much less than this).
Condition: Mount and all claws are in excellent condition, under a jeweller's loupe the outer stones can be seen to be abraded on the crowns commensurate with age and use. Not readily noticeable to the naked eye. Quite a large ring fitting: English size U (USA size 10.1/4) with an internal diameter of 20.04 mm. Very handsome and striking-looking ring, with very prettily coloured stones. Total ring weight is 4.91g.
